Harmlessly Falling

I seem to be in the poetry-word-vomit mood these days.

and a fall from you is a long way down

(through a mix of fog and
misshaped silhouettes and your eyes
staring at me from above, and a cherry smile
on your face)

b(eca)u(se you know) t(hat) i’ll find a better way
to fall harmlessly to the ground.
